Each of you will have a different idea of what a beautiful jewelry box should look like. As do all of you, we do as well. The jewelry boxes we create are expressions of our design skills, past experiences, and new inspirations. We've purchased many books sharing other artisan's ideas on box making, and obviously inspiring our designs even further.

We in no way attempt to copy another fine craftsman's ideas and designs, but we do use them for inspiration.

Our most favored line of products, creating boxes is unique from all other forms of woodworking. When asked why he prefers making boxes more than anything else, Sig. Intravartolo always responds in a similar fashion, "…a jewelry box, or a keepsake box is used to hold and protect something special, not to say a baby crib isn't, of course. But, when you consider that a jewelry box of this caliber is not a necessity, but something that is made out of love and care, purchased out of love, and inspires it's owner with pride, it's different than anything else I create. The requirements of a quality jewelry box extend far beyond that of making other products. With this product, the owner normally holds it in their hands, looks closely at it, maybe within a few inches from their eyes. The exactness and perfection required is far more demanding than making a kitchen cabinet, or a nightstand. I enjoy that higher level of perfection in my craft, it's inspiring, and because it is demanded by our customers, I prefer the challenge. When a perfect piece is finished, it's hard to part with it.".
